Kalamunda Senior High School offers a range of programs. These are designed to enrich and extend the excellent comprehensive education offered at the school.

Years 7 to 10

Programs offered include:

These programs form part of the elective courses for the students in these years and also include extra activities such as camps, expeditions, productions, excursions and special guests. Please note that extra charges apply.

  • Stepping Up

This program is offered to Year 10 students. It is an engagement program designed to meet the needs of students who have found it difficult in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10. It offers a more tailored education program that will ensure students have the opportunity to experience success. It prepares them to re-engage with their studies in the Senior School.

Years 11 & 12

  • Vocational Education and Training (VET)

A comprehensive range of VET courses are available at the school. They include Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate courses delivered both internally and through local Polytechnic and Training organisations. All VET course pathways include a Work Placement to enhance the students’ ability to apply their learning in a work environment.
